JOHOR BAHRU, May 23, 2025 – Woo Kah Leong, National DAPSY Chief and Chairman of Angkatan Muda HARAPAN, led a DAPSY delegation to the Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) National Congress in Johor Bahru, emphasizing the importance of staying true to the people’s mandate and pushing for reform.

In his policy speech, Adam Adli, outgoing AMK chief, declared that the fight has always been against corruption, arrogance, evil, and immorality. He stressed that neglecting the people would lead to their rejection of the government, a sentiment Woo strongly endorsed.
“Without the people’s support, we are nothing,” Woo said, underscoring that the coalition’s rise to power stems from public backing.
Since taking over as Chairman of Angkatan Muda HARAPAN, Woo has
prioritized youth-focused initiatives, including advocating for the abolition of the Universities and University Colleges Act (AUKU), a longstanding Pakatan Harapan (PH) commitment.
Echoing Adam’s remarks on the rebellious spirit of youth, Woo highlighted that PH’s current leadership emerged from past demonstrations and rallies.
“We were once young activists boldly fighting injustice. We must preserve that spirit, especially now as the ruling administration,” he urged.
Woo emphasized the need to keep PH as the primary choice for “rebel” and “anti-establishment” groups, ensuring they are not sidelined for their outspokenness.
“Never forget that we were part of them,” he reminded.
Angkatan Muda HARAPAN, under Woo’s leadership, pledges to advance the reform agenda and foster unity across race, religion, and background to sustain public support. Woo congratulated Adam for his three years of leadership and expressed confidence in Kamil Munim, the newly appointed AMK chief, to lead the movement forward.
“Together, let us strengthen HARAPAN and solidify unity,” Woo conclu
